The Health Board manages MEWA Drugs Treatment Center. The Mewa Drugs Treatment Center was established to offer detox and rehab services at very subsidized rates. Most of MEWA’s beneficiaries are people from humble backgrounds. Since its inception, the facilities have seen over 6000 addicts rehabilitated and injected back to the community as rehabilitated, reformed, and trained people.
